Site work and paving for a civil project in Astoria, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The intent of this contract is to replace existing storm drain infrastructure and install new storm drainage in two geologically sensitive are as located near 1st Street and Commercial Street, and 24th Street and Irving Ave. The following is a brief summary of the major elements of Work that are to be provided by the Contractor. 1. Installation of new HDPE storm drain pipe 2. Replacement of existing corrugated metal flume 3. Installation of new inlets, catch basins and trench drains 4. Street reconstruction (excavation, base and asphaltic concrete paving) 5. Temporary traffic control 6. Erosion control All bids must be accompanied by a certified check, a cashier's check or bid bond in an amount equal to at least 5% ofthe total bid. Project Substantial Completion shall be October 18, 2024 and Project Final Completion shall be November 15, 2024. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
