Site work, paving, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Holt, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a 9,230-square-foot fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; for the renovation of a fire / police facility; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and pre-engineered storage facility.

The Work generally consists of, but is not limited to, the construction of a new 9,230 GSF fire station, with a 1190 GSF covered porch and associated site work. Generally, the foundations and floor slab will be poured in place concrete. The exterior walls and roof will be a pre-manufactured metal building. Interior walls will be painted gypsum board on wood studs. The apparatus bay walls will be either painted plywood or metal liner panels. The floor finishes include sealed concrete, monolithic poured epoxy, LVT resilient tile or carpet tiles. Finished ceilings will be either suspended acoustical ceiling tiles, painted gypsum board or exposed vinyl insulation. Apparatus bay doors are coiling overhead doors. The HVAC is split system heat pump units. The apparatus bays have radiant gas heat. Plumbing is standard porcelain fixtures and institutional grade piping. Electrical is standard institution grade LED lighting and power distribution. Civil sitework includes both concrete and asphalt pavements. Other civil work includes grading, stormwater treatment, landscaping and other associated work. There are two alternates. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality, or to reject any or all bids, and to award the contract to the best and most responsible bidder. A Bid Bond, a Payment Bond, and a Performance Bond are required. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and able to obtain insurance and bonds as required for the work. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the opening thereof. The bidder agrees to guarantee the bid price, with no cost increase, for 90 days. All bids should be submitted on the BID FORM in the Project Manual Book as issued by the Architect.
