Site work for a water / sewer project in Port Hope Simpson, Newfoundland. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
New installation of Water and Sewer 12 homes in the middle of town on a hill, with other homes below it. Raw sewer runs over the ground in some areas and doorways smells of sewer on some days. There is a lot of kids and pets on this street and it is a health concern for our town. The project shall consist of approx. 5 Maintenance Holes, 331m of 200mm PVC Sewer Main, 361m of 150mm HDPE Water Main, and 180m of service lines to within 1.5m of the homes. TIMELINE: RFP for design has been awarded. Preliminary budget estimates are less than $1 million. Project may be followed once approved to bid. Coverage of this report is discontinued at this time. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
