Demolition, site work and renovation of a civil project in Hillsboro, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Following Improvement Project: Highland County Rocky Fork Lake Wwtp Improvements Phase Ii. The Work Includes But Is Not Limited To Providing All Labor, Tools, Equipment And Materials Necessary For The Following Improvements: Base Bid Demolition Of Existing Tertiary Filters And Other Demolition Work To Accommodate New Filters Provision And Installation Of New Tertiary Disk Filters Miscellaneous Improvements Required For New Filters Including But Not Limited To Concrete, Piping And Valves, New Door, Backwash Waste Pumps, Sump Pump, Grating And Supports Electrical And Instrumentation Work Associated With New Filters And Backwash Waste Pumps And Sump Pump. Also Includes New Lighting In Filter Building Alternate Bids Some Or None Of The Following Items May Be Selected To Be Part Of The Final Construction Contract. Bidders Will Be Required To Completely Fill In All Line Items On The Bid Form. Add Alternate 1 Influent And Effluent Samplers - Including Removal Of Existing Equipment, Provision And Installation Of New Units And Electrical Work Necessary For Operation Of New Samplers Add Alternate 2 Uv Disinfection - Including Removal Of Existing Equipment, Provision And Installation Of New Units And Electrical Work Necessary For Operation Of New Uv Disinfection Units Add Alternate 3 Digester Blowers - Including Removal Of Existing Equipment, Provision And Installation Of New Units And Associated Piping And Electrical Work Necessary For Operation Of New Blowers Add Alternate 4 Digester Diffusers/pumps - Including Removal Of Existing Equipment, Disposal Of Grit From Digester Tanks, Provision And Installation Of New Diffusers, Digester Pumps, And Guiderails, And Electrical Work Necessary For Operation Of New Pumps Add Alternate 5 Sludge Holding Pump- Including Removal Of Existing Equipment, Provision And Installation Of New Pump And Guiderails, Disposal Of Grit From Sludge Holding Tank, Piping Modifications At Sludge Loading Station And New Piping To Install New Sludge Loading Station, And Electrical Work Necessary For Operation Of New Pump. This Alternate Also Includes Provision And Installation Of A New Septage Screen Add Alternate 6 Sitework, Misc Improvements - Including Provision And Installation Of New Fence, Gates, Drives And Influent Flowmeter No Bid May Be Withdrawn For A Period Of 60 Days After The Opening. Each Bid Must Include A Bid Security In The Amount Of 10% Of The Total Bid In The Form Of A Certified Check, Cashiers Check, Irrevocable Letter Of Credit, Or Security Company Bond Pursuant To Chapter 1305 Of The Ohio Revised Code And Made Payable To Highland County Commissioners. If A Bid Security In The Amount Of 10% Of The Full Bid Amount Is Submitted With The Bid, The Successful Bidder Will Be Required To Furnish A Performance Bond And Labor And Material Bond From An Acceptable Surety In The Amount Of 100% Of The Full Contract Amount In Accordance With Section 153.571 Of The Ohio Revised Code. If A Bid Guaranty Bond In The Amount Of 100% Of The Total Bid Is Submitted With The Bid, No Additional Performance And Labor And Material Bond Will Be Required. The Owner Reserves The Right To Waive Any Informality Or To Accept Any Bid Which Is Deemed Most Favorable. The Owner Also Reserves The Right To Reject Any Or All Bids. Bidders Must Comply With Current Davis-bacon Prevailing Wage Rates For Public Improvements In Highland County, Ohio As Determined The total estimated construction cost for the base bid is $1,230,000 Bidders shall submit written questions to Jim Found, PE, at jfound@enveng.com by 12 Noon, August 7, 2024
