Project Description: the Work to Be Performed Under These Specifications Consists of Furnishing All Labor, Tools, Materials, and Equipment Necessary for the 2024 Wwtp Erosion Repair Project. This Project Will Require Clearing, Grubbing and Temporary Grading to Install New Roadside Runoff Conveyance Structures and a New Stormwater Outfall to Big Gulch Creek. This Work Will Require the Removal and Replacement of Existing Pavement and Thickened Edge as Well as the Removal of an Existing Pipe and Catch Basin That Convey Roadside Runoff to an Unnamed Tributary of Big Gulch Creek. Contractor to Implement Temporary Erosion and Sedimentation Control Measures, Including a Stabilized Construction Entrance. Contractor to Provide a Temporary Stormwater Collection and Bypass System to Convey Upstream Stormwater Around the Work Area During Construction. The Project Includes the Construction of a New 24-inch Stormwater Pipeline and 6-inch Underdrain With Cleanout, Installation of Two New Type 2 Catch Basins, and Construction of a New Outfall Dissipation Pad and Gabion Basket Structure Landward of the Big Gulch Creek Ordinary High-water Level (Ohwl). The Project Also Includes the Placement of 6-8 Logs/large Wood Pieces Within the Channel of an Adjacent Unnamed Tributary Shown on the Contract Plans, as Directed by the City of Mukilteo. This Wood Placement Will Require No Filling of the Channel or Anchoring of the Wood. This Wood Will Be Sourced From the Trees Removed by the Contractor During Clearing and Grubbing, in Coordination With the City of Mukilteo. Contractor to Restore All Work Areas to the Pre-disturbed Grade and Revegetate With a Diversity of Native Plant Species as Shown on the Contract Plans. No Work Shall Be Performed Within the Ohwl Boundaries of Big Gulch Creek. The Estimated Cost for This Project is in a Range of $250,000 to $350,000. The Work Described in These Contract Documents Shall Be Physically Completed Within 20 Working Days. Pre-bid Meeting: the Contractor is Responsible for Visiting the Site Limits Prior to Bid. No Pre-bid Site Inspection or Meeting is Scheduled. Please Note the Requirements of Section 1-02.4 of the Wsdot Standard Specifications. This Contract Involves Public Work.
