**The project has been awarded with the amount of $1,429,205.90** The Lift Station 5 Upgrade project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for construction of the lift station upgrade including new wet well, valve vault, electrical vaults and standby generator set, bypass pumping, and revisions to existing structures. Contractors should note that the Lift Station 5 Force Main project is currently under construction at the site and that work onsite will not be permitted until the completion of the force main project. Contractors should further note that submittals will be accepted following the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated date for the commencement of work on-site is Monday, May 17, 2021 The Work shall be physically complete within 160 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the General Manager, District Office, Mukilteo, Washington. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the Mukilteo Water & Wastewater District and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount. Contract questions shall be directed only to the office of the Project Engineer. Due to limited parking availability and to encourage social distancing, please contact the Project Engineer at least 24-hours in advance of the Prebid Walk Through and indicate your intention to attend. The event may be divided into groups if attendance is large enough to warrant it. No unauthorized visits or unscheduled visits will be allowed. Financing of the Project has been provided by Mukilteo Water & Wastewater District, Washington and Public Works Board Construction Loan. The Mukilteo Water & Wastewater District expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in any Proposal.
