A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The work consists of furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary for the Lighthouse Park Boat Launch Floats Project. This includes offsite fabrication of two sets of seven new boat launch floats, delivering and unloading the finished floats at Mukilteo Lighthouse Park for storage and later installation by City personnel. Floats are to be constructed of timber with fabricated galvanized steel hinges between sections, FRP grating walking surface, encapsulated expanded polystyrene floatation, and all required fasteners and hardware, and other work as specified. The work must be physically completed within 160 calendar days. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond (certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond) in an amount equal to at least 5% of the bid. All bids must be written on forms found in the Bid Documents, sealed, and received by the specified date and time. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities or minor irregularities, and award in the City's best interest. There are no formal pre-bid meetings; contractors are encouraged to inspect the delivery and unloading site. All technical questions must be submitted in writing by the deadline. The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements, nondiscrimination clauses, and registration with Builders Exchange of Washington. Addenda will be posted and must be acknowledged with the bid. There are no minimum Minority and Women's Business Enterprise participation requirements. Participation is encouraged, but not mandatory.
