The work includes installation of a new cast-in-place main rock trap vault and a smaller pre-cast manhole structure to serve as a rock trap on a secondary influent line. An existing stormwater catch basin will be redirected to the main rock trap, with a concrete slab poured around the catch basin to serve as a dumpster pad. The main rock trap vault will include three stop gates. Electrical conduit needs to be relocated and replaced in kind. The Contractor shall provide all civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, controls, and incidental work for a complete and operable installation in accordance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans. The estimated construction cost is $670,000. It is recommended that Bidder's "Register" in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the "Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan room for addenda issued on this project. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Contract Provisions. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, money order, or bid bond payable to the "Mukilteo Water and Wastewater District" and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. The three lowest bids may not be withdrawn for 60 days after the day of bid opening. Prospective bidders are encouraged to participate. Financing of the Project has been provided by Mukilteo Water and Wastewater District, Washington.
