Site work for a civil project in Arcadia, Louisiana. Design plans call for site work for a development; and water / sewer project.
As of October 30, 2025, this project is in the design phase. A timeline for construction has not yet been established and a contractor has not been selected. The Town of Arcadia/Bienville Parish is seeking assistance for engineering services for Disaster Recovery CDBG funds and subsequent implementation of the Hazel Street Flood Mitigation Project Upgrading the sewer lift station located on east Daniel Street; installation of culverts along the area of 1083 -- 1335 Hazel Street; new construction of a retention pond north of Gap Farms Road; expansion of existing retention ponds to increase the depth of water bodies upstream located between 1-20 and Gap Farms Road; creating two-stage ditching within the existing retention ponds so that flooding could be neutralized or diminished while increasing aquatic and plant life in the area. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
