Site work for a road / highway in Lethbridge, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
During springtime pavement distress start occurring to some sections of the roadway. Some of these distresses are frost boils. This is a breaking of small section of a road under traffic with ejection of soft, semi-liquid subgrade soil. This is caused by the melting of the segregated ice formed by frost action. The distress lowers the level of service at affected section to the motorists. To maintain acceptable level of service, every year during spring the City repair frost boils using public operation forces or by contracting out. Scope The scope of work is the repair of frost boils in the following locations: 1. 1405, 33 Street North 2. 29 Street North (South of 5 Ave North intersection) 3. 33 St South at 3303 North Parkside Dr Alley 4. 3614 Forestry Ave South 5. 1609 Scenic Drive South (Back Alley) Documents can be obtained from https://lethbridge.bidsandtenders.ca/
