Renovation of a water / sewer project in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The improvement includes sequenced demolition, replacement, and modifications of the existing waste activated sludge thickening system, polymer chemical system, electrical gear, controls, and associated components and other incidental items, all in accordance with the contract documents including Plan File No. 663-141/203, located at Buildings 70 and 75 at the Wastewater Reclamation Facility, 3000 Vandalia Road, Des Moines, Iowa The City of Des Moines is pleased to provide accommodations to individuals with disabilities or groups and encourages participation in City government. Engineer's Construction Estimate. $6,014,000.00 The City's Overall Annual DBE/TSB Goal for this project is 5.72% This project shall be fully completed not later than November 30, 2026 and in accordance with the attached Completion Provisions. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction. The Des Moines Metropolitan Wastewater Reclamation Authority (Jurisdiction) reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
