DESCRIPTION OF WORK A. Scope of work is as indicated on drawings and specifications. In general, the scope includes: sidewalk construction at the Washington State History Museum frontage. Construction activities include, but are not limited to, tree demolition, concrete demolition, and replacement. The project is located within the city of Tacoma, Washington. 1. Division 31: Earthwork. a. Clearing of the site and demolition of existing site surfacing in preparation of construction. b. Earth moving to grade the site to subgrade elevation. c. Installation of erosion control measures to prevent stormwater sedimentation and sediment laden stormwater from leaving the site. 2. Division 32: Exterior Improvements. a. Construction of concrete sidewalk surfacing. b. Site furnishings and landscape improvements. 1.06 DESCRIPTION OF WORK (LIMITED SCOPE) A. Construction of concrete sidewalks.
