The City of Manhattan seeks statements of qualifications and proposals from historic preservation and historic preservation planning professionals (Consultants) for the development of a Historic Preservation Plan (Plan) for the City of Manhattan, Kansas (City). This Plan will be developed by the selected Consultant and adopted by the City as part of the Manhattan Urban Area Comprehensive Plan. The Plan will guide preservation efforts in the City into the future. Questions concerning this project should be addressed in writing to Ben Chmiel, AICP, Senior Planner, at chmiel@cityofmhk.com. Clarifications to the RFQ/RFP and responses to all questions will be posted to Drexel Technologies' website. No interpretation made to any respondent regarding the meaning of the RFQ/RFP shall be binding upon the City unless set forth in writing and distributed via addendum by the City. The City will not accept physical/printed submissions, oral submissions, or copies received by facsimile machine. All submissions received after the deadline will not be considered. The City of Manhattan reserves the right to reject any and all submissions or portions of submissions, to waive minor deficiencies, or to solicit new submissions on the original project or on a modified project as may be deemed necessary or in the best interest of the City.
