Renovation of a municipal facility in Norfolk, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

All questions shall be submitted no later than 5:00 pm Eastern Time on July 29, 2024. Questions received after that time will not be considered. The City reserves the right to determine if a proposal is incomplete. All work shall be completed within sixty (60) days from the execution of this Agreement. No work will be deemed complete until it is accepted by the City Online - Q&A The Contractor must comply with the provisions of Chapter 24 ("Licenses and Taxation") of the City of Norfolk Code, if applicable. For information on the provisions of that Chapter and its applicability to this Agreement, the Contractor must contact the City of Norfolk Business License Division, Office of the Commissioner of the Revenue, 810 Union Street, City Hall, First Floor, West Wing, Norfolk, Virginia 23510 Take any measurements of the space needed to support the design process. b. Develop a design that maximizes the exisfing floor plan and drains while also adhering to the minimum acceptable standards for kennels outlined in the Associafion of Shelter Veterinarians' Guidelines for Standards of Care in Animal Shelters. i. The kennels shall be constructed of durable material that prevents escape, can withstand frequent sanitafion, and is not damaged by scratching or chewing, such as stainless steel. Of these, at least ten (10) kennels must be covered to prevent dogs from climbing or jumping out. ii. All kennels must be centered over a drain. iii. Each kennel must be aftached to the concrete floor in a manner that prevents crossenclosure contaminafion and allows panel-leveling adjustments to be made to the floor slope. iv. Transfer doors shall include a pulley mechanism with braided steel cable.
