This entails protecting and reusing pile guides, Unibolt connections, and fiberglass light poles along with associated electrical connections. The work also involves the removal, storage, and reinstallation of a 60' aluminum gangway, the acceptance and inspection of dock deliveries, and the assembly and installation of seven District-supplied concrete Unifloats docks per Bellingham Marine's recommendations. Additional tasks include reinstalling existing components, installing new cleats, vinyl fendering, and corner bumpers, sand removal and placement within specified project limits, installing a silt curtain for eelgrass protection, removal of silt curtain, implementing Best Management Practices (BMPs), and procuring and placing neoprene rubber sealing strips with stainless steel wedge anchors at designated concrete wall panel joints on the west breakwater. Contractor shall have verifiable experience in a combination of marine infrastructure projects that involve installing, maintaining, and repairing floating docks, conducting underwater sand removal and upland disposal operations, and performing specialized underwater construction specifically related to the installation of neoprene sleeves as detailed in the construction documents.
