Description

Renovation of a military facility in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

B-378 Install Vapor Degreaser at Naval Base Coronado. Construct a fire-rated room (rating to be determined by fire protection engineer) for vapor degreaser equipment within Building 378. The room will be located in the northeast corner of the building, as per FRC's preference, and will include a window for viewing into room. Room size will be approximately 400 ft2. Install a split unit system for cooling and ventilation. Install lighting, as needed. Install new fire protection system inside room, if required. Demolition of all piping and appurtenance above ceiling to accommodate required ceiling height. Cap and abandon all other unused piping. Install explosion proof electrical equipment, as required. All Requests For Information (RFI) shall be submitted no later than 12:00 PM (PDT) on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, via email to CS Manuel Gari, elliott.m.gari.civ@us.navy.mil. Any RFIs submitted after the cutoff date/time may not be considered. The proposed location for the installation will be the garage in the northeast corner of bldg. 378 adjacent to the generator repair room. MBE (16.9%), WBE (6.9%) CONSTR. CONTR. No- N6247320D0036/ N6247323F4025 Addendum #1-#2 have been issued as of 8-1-2024.
