Site work and renovation of a medical facility in La Ronge, Saskatchewan. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The La Ronge Health Centre (LRHC) is a 20-bed facility that provides a wide variety of services, including inpatient care, emergency and outpatient care, and labour and delivery for residents living in La Ronge and surrounding areas. Construction of an ambulance bay and renovations to the main entrance and Emergency Department (ED) would improve safety and privacy for ambulance offloads, staff, patients receiving care in the ED, and those waiting for appointments (Laboratory, Diagnostic Imaging, Therapies, etc.). Currently, the entrance leads directly into the ED, providing visibility of the trauma rooms, treatment rooms, and the waiting area. By addressing these issues, the facility can improve the flow of incoming patients, visitors, and staff, contributing to a safer and more secure environment for everyone. TIMELINE: Project is conceptual. A Business Case study has been completed by the consultant. Further project details and timelines may be confirmed in 2026, pending owner's capital plans. *Budget to be determined.
