Site work for a water / sewer project in Highland City, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project is the installation of (16) Owner-provided Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) towers at (16) various locations in the southwest sector of Polk County. Scopes of work include: Concrete, Electrical, and Installation/Erection of Towers. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Work consists of: 1. Construction of 50-foot AMI repeater poles and 80-foot AMI towers. The poles and towers will house a repeater provided by Master Meter and installed by Empire Pipe & Supply. 2. The contractor is responsible for the installation of the 50 pole/8' tower. The electrical contractor is responsible for the installation of the circuit breaker, conduit and power conductors to the 50 pole/80 tower. Master meter is responsible for mounting the AMI repeater, installing the antenna cable, and mounting the antenna atop the pole/tower. 3. All equipment shall be delivered to Polk County Utilities Department facility located at the Southwest Wastewater Treatment Facility 2345 Arnez Dr, Mulberry, FL 33860. The County will provide a staging area sufficient for materials storage. The Contractor will be responsible for unloading of the equipment from the delivery trucks. 4. The Contractor will be responsible for requesting access to the facility, loading the material, and transporting it to each installation site. 5. Commissioning of the Work.
