The Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, products, equipment, tools, supplies, and incidentals necessary for construction of approximately 160 LF of 16-inch DIP water mains, 1,350 LF of 12-inch DIP water mains, 20 LF of 6-inch DIP water mains, 210 LF of 20-inch steel casing with 12-inch DIP water main installed by open cut, a new precast concrete vault with interior piping, one 6-inch electronic fow control valve with 4-inch control valve pit bypass, one 6-inch magnetic fow meter, 6-inch OS&Y gate valves, pressure gauges, and related incidentals, including all related piping, appurtenances, anchors, pipe supports, including, site grading, grassing, landscaping, erosion control, paving, and other incidentals required for construction and start-up for the complete and functioning water infrastructure described by the Contract Documents. The Project will be funded by Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) under the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) program. Payment for the Work will be made on the basis of Contractor's periodic Applications-for-Payment processed by the Engineer. T Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, or other security authorized by law, in an amount of not less than fve percent (5%) of the total base bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. The right is reserved by the Owner to delay the award of the Contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of Bids, during which time the bids shall remain open and not subject to withdrawal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any and all technicalities or informalities.
