The purpose of this Request for Proposal -RFP- is to solicit sealed proposals from qualified Offerors to establish term contract(s), through competitive negotiations to provide professional engineering consulting, construction administration/management, and related services associated with sanitary sewer evaluation and rehabilitation for Hanover County, Virginia. Services shall be provided on an as needed basis in accordance with the requirements. The Engineer represents that all services shall be performed in accordance with generally acceptable professional standards for commercial projects for institutional owners and further represents that the advice and consultation provided shall be within its authority and capacity as a professional. Services shall be inclusive of all costs (i.e. supervision, labor, materials, equipment, transportation, etc., including profit, overhead, administration, etc.). All work shall be provided under the supervision of a professional engineer licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia to perform sanitary sewer evaluations, inspections, investigations, rehabilitation design, and other related services. Services may be extended to water and wastewater infrastructure located on County, Schools, and Pamunkey Regional Jail properties. The County reserves the right to request the Contractor to work with other County consultants/contractors in delivery of assigned projects. Services should include development of any or all levels of documents from programming and conceptual design through construction drawings, to include construction specifications, bid documents and construction administration.
