Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Oakland, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Oakland Administration Building Roofing System Rehabilitation Bidders/bid walk attendees (Attendees) shall comply with the Alameda County health orders. Face coverings will be required at a facility if there is a declared Cal-OSHA Outbreak at the project site (applicable signs indicating as such will be posted). Attendees shall also cover their coughs/sneezes, practice hand washing, and shall not engage in physical contact. Attendees who disregard these health and safety requirements, as well as attendees who feel sick and/or have a cough or fever will not be allowed to attend. This is the only time that the Administration Building will be open for inspection. The inspection will last approximately two hours. No photography by the Attendees will be allowed. The district will take photographs, as requested by the Attendees, restricted to the work zone. The district will release photographs to Attendees after the bid walk, pending review by the district. All Attendees are required to have a photo ID and sign a confidentiality agreement not to share, sell, or publish photos. The Prime Contractor and its subcontractors are strongly encouraged to attend the jobsite inspection where a "sign-in" sheet will be provided. Requirements of the District's Contract Equity Program including the Local Hire component will be discussed and explained at the jobsite inspection. Remove existing granite and concrete topping and existing waterproofing membrane at the upper terraces 8th floor, 9th floor and 10th floor as indicated on plans. 2. Add new drains at 8th and 9th floor terraces where indicated in plans. 3. Install new roofing assembly including roofing membrane, cover board, tapered insulation sloped 1/4 per ft. min. to drain at the upper terraces. 4. Install new traffic waterproofing assembly at 10th floor courtyard. Provide new pipe stanchions at all existing unistrut stanchions. 5. Retrofit existing davit connections as indicated on the drawings. 6. Provide new facade access equipment. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
