Reference Number : 0000358776 Proposals (Response), from qualified consultants (Respondent) for "on-call" material testing and construction inspection services for federally-funded projects. Awarded contracts will be for a period of three (3) years, with two one (1) year options. The services will include field testing, sampling, and laboratory testing for soils, aggregates, asphalt concrete, Portland cement concrete, steel reinforcing, masonry, rebar, miscellaneous metals, welds, and bolts, and for performing inspection services at the direction of the project Resident Engineer. This Request is being issued concurrently with the Request for Proposals for On-Call Material Testing and Construction Inspection Services for Non-Federally Funded Projects at the Port of Oakland. Respondents may submit proposals for both Requests, however, a firm selected under this Request is precluded from being selected for the On-Call Material Testing and Construction Inspection Services for Non-Federally Funded Projects at the Port of Oakland. If a firm is among the highest ranked firms for both Requests and is selected for a contract, the Port retains the right to award that firm the contract that best serves the interests of the Port.
