The Work to Be Done Under This Contract Consists of Executing and Completing All Work Required for Uma - 24-27 / 200611082, Haigis Mall, Planting Beds and Landscape Design, University of Massachusetts Amherst. Work will include all site removal and new construction for the Haigis Mall, Planting Beds and Landscape Design including underground and overhead utilities, HVAC work, plumbing work, fire protection, and electrical work as required. The General Contractor will provide a schedule for completion of the project to the Owner within the required construction period. General Information: a. The project consists of a new concrete plaza, precast concrete pavers, lighting, (2) two 100 foot flagpoles, masonry seatwalls, raised planter and monolithic engraved granite sign. b. Demolition of the existing landscape, raised planter and (2) two 100 foot flagpoles which potentially contain lead paint is required prior to completing proposed work. Demolish and remediate flagpoles in compliance with Massachusetts State Building Code, current edition, in addition to all other applicable codes and regulations. Secure all necessary building permits. c. The Contractor will be required to install (2) two temporary flagpoles if the (2) two 100 foot flagpoles are not installed and usable by December 27, 2024.
