Demolition and site work for an educational facility in Amherst, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Work includes the demolition of the existing planting bed, removal of 2 existing flag poles & foundations, installation of 2 new flag poles & foundations, installation of Goshen stone walls Estimated Cost $770,000. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. a. The project consists of a new concrete plaza, precast concrete pavers, lighting, (2) two 100 foot flagpoles, masonry seatwalls, raised planter and monolithic engraved granite sign. b. Demolition of the existing landscape, raised planter and (2) two 100 foot flagpoles which potentially contain lead paint is required prior to completing proposed work. Demolish and remediate flagpoles in compliance with Massachusetts State Building Code, current edition, in addition to all other applicable codes and regulations. Secure all necessary building permits. c. The Contractor will be required to install (2) two temporary flagpoles if the (2) two 100 foot flagpoles are not installed and usable by December 27, 2024
