LIQUIDATED DAMAGES As actual damages for any delay in completion of the work which the Contractor is required to perform under this contract are impossible of determination, and the City and the public will suffer damage from delay in the completion of this contract, the Contractor and his sureties shall be liable for and shall pay to the City of Joliet, Illinois the sum of Two Hundred Dollars ($250.00) as fixed, agreed and liquidated damages for each calendar day of unjustified deviation from the date specified in the proposal for completion.
