Removal and Replacement of Granular Activated Carbon & Sand The Towns of Ashland is seeking SEALED BIDS in accordance with MGL c. 30 B from competent firms for the removal and replacement of approximately 32 to 34 tons of Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) and 18 tons of sand for the Town of Ashland Howe Street Water Treatment Plant located at 229 Howe Street in Ashland, MA. All bids must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the value of the bid. A payment bond in the amount of 50% of the contract will be required.
