Saving Project...

Site work, paving and new construction of a clubhouse / community center in Grovetown, Georgia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 6,099-square-foot, one-story above grade clubhouse / community center; for site work for a clubhouse / community center; and for paving for a clubhouse / community center.

The project consists of construction of a new community center building for the City of Grovetown, modeled loosely in appearance after an historic train station that was previously torn down. The building is a single story with a mechanical mezzanine and a tall window monitor in the middle of the roof. Construction is of light gauge metal framing, metal trusses, structural steel, and some concrete masonry construction where the building is built into the site grading. The site work also includes significant grading, paving, and storm detention features, including a buried detention tank. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. Bidders shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Work is subject to liquidated damages.
