Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Seal Beach, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility; and fitness / recreation center.

Location: Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach (NWSSB), Seal Beach, CA The scope of the work is for a design build project for renovations to the Building 16 Recreational Center at Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach. The project is a design build project with interior design requirements for the Fitness Area. The interior designer shall have experience with fitness centers and will provide a design that is focused on the floors, walls, ceiling and lighting while utilizing the existing fitness equipment. The project will not include purchase of new fitness equipment. Improvements will also be made to the floors, walls and lighting in the locker rooms, installation of shower partitions in the men's locker room showers and in the women's locker room. Exterior work will include replacement of all solid single and double doors. Exterior improvements will also include creating accessible paths to and from the building and to the different exterior workout areas. The project will also include improvements to the tennis courts to resurface one court for tennis and resurface and improve the other court for pickleball.
