This is a design build utility project. The scope of this project includes the replacement of electrical surface structures and dynamic protective devices at buildings 204, 506, 507, 514, and 544. The need for this replacement arises from the significant deterioration or defects that have been detected in at least some parts of these assets. It has become evident that these issues are affecting the functioning of the equipment, and therefore replacement is required. The electrical surface structures that require replacement may include wiring, conduits, switches, and other related components. All conductor and bus bars must be copper. The replacement may also involve upgrading the existing electrical system such as conduit, conductors and clearances to meet all current electrical and safety standards. Contractor is fully responsible to design and build fully operational systems that meet current UFC, SCE, NEC and all applicable standards, turning fully operational systems to the government. Contractor to submit all calculations for review. A Pre-Proposal Conference and Site Visit is scheduled fo Provide an Electrical System complete in place, tested and approved, as specified throughout this RFP, as needed for a complete, usable and proper installation.
