Soliciting proposals from qualified engineering firms to assist the District in updating its General Sewer Plan (GSP), and possibly provide other miscellaneous wastewater and collection engineering services. The services include preparation of the GSP as well as other wastewater related engineering services as requested by the District. PROJECT DESCRIPTION T he District i s requesting consultant assistance from a qualified engineering firm in completing at a minimum the following tasks, as requested: 1) Update the District's General Sewer Plan with a 20-year planning horizon; 2) Submit completed report to the Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology) for review and approval; 3) Review sewer modeling to verify system capacity; and 4) Support the District with civil, mechanical, electrical, process and collection system engineering services as requested. To assist with these tasks, the District will provide all available physical and digital information. Management and operations staff availability to discuss and review information as needed. Specific Consultant duties will include, but are not limited to: * Review current biological treatment process. Evaluate and provide treatment recommendations for meeting growth demands. Emphasis on densification process' and reclaimed water. * Evaluate satellite treatment facility options. * Evaluate off site Biosolids handling process, including drying and composting * At the sole discretion of the District, the successful consultant, may be requested to provide additional services.
