3.5" Bituminous Concrete Pavement on 1.3 Miles of James Road at the Width of 18 Feet, Pulverizing and Relaying of Existing Asphalt Surface, 3 Inches of New Aggregate Over Existing Subbase 22' Wide Including 2' Shoulders and Placement of New Pavement Surface. Bid Bond: a Satisfactory Bid Bond Executed by the Bidder and a Licensed Surety Company or a Certified Check Payable to the Town of Dodgeville in an Amount Not Less Than 5% of the Maximum Bid, Shall Accompany Each Bid as a Guarantee That, if the Bid is Accepted, the Bidders Will Execute and File the Proper Contract and Bonds Within Ten Days After the Award of the Contract. the Town of Dodgeville Reserves the Right to Waive Formalities in Bidding and to Reject Any and All Bids or Accept the Bid Most Advantageous to the Town. No Bid Shall Be Withdrawn Without the Consent of the Owner for a Period of Forty-five Days After the Scheduled Time of the Bid Opening.
