Also enclosed is a form to complete listing the quarries you have open to access,their location, and the material(s) available. The Highway Department reserves the right to accept any bid or option deemed most advantageous to Iowa County, including from sources providing the lowest overall cost or based on additional County haulage distance to jobsites. The bidders are reminded to make sure their bid package is complete and has been properly filled out and signed before submittal. All bids must be signed by an authorized representative and received in the Highway Office up to the time of the bid letting. These products may be utilized on projects, which include funding from the County, State Department of Transportation Local Road Improvements Program, Department of Administration Community Development Block Grants Program, State Department of Transportation Maintenance, or other funding sources. Suppliers agree to work with providing the County any material quality control or assurance reporting requirements as may be deemed necessary for Grant Program Awards and Funding Reimbursement compliance.
