Furnishing the following in accordance with specifications on file in the office of Purchasing in the Municipal Building, Richmond, Indiana. Demolition of the Elder-Beerman Building and connecting bridge to City Parking Garage located at 601 E. Main Street, Richmond, IN 47374 All proposals shall be properly and completely executed on Form No. 96 as prescribed by the State Board of Accounts of the State of Indiana. All proposals submitted shall be accompanied by an acceptable Bidder's Bond, Certified Check or Cashier's Check made payable to the City of Richmond, Indiana in the amount of 5% of the total bid price. If the bidder is from out-of-state, the Bidder's Bond must be secured by a Surety who is admitted to do business in Indiana. The successful bidder will be required to submit a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid price and a 100% Labor and Materials Payment Bond prior to commencing work. Checks of the unsuccessful bidders will be returned on award of the proposal. Specifications and bid forms may be picked up, in person, from the Purchasing Office, 50 North 5th Street, Richmond, Indiana 47374. Bidder will be required to comply with all applicable Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations, including Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1983.
