Renovation of a conference / convention center in Richmond, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.
Bidders shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the contract time. Work on site is to begin dependent upon Owner's event schedule. Completion date is December 31, 2024. Question Deadline 09/09/2024 Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws covering their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond equal to 10% of the bid amount. A performance and payment bond shall be required. Bids may not be modified, withdrawn, or cancelled within 45 days following the time and date designated for opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities in the bids and bidding. The Owner shall have the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid received. It is the intent of the Owner to award the Contract to the lowest responsible or best bidder consistent with the Owner's best interest. Wayne County Commissioners will accept bids for a single unified general construction contract which includes all aspects of the work according to Drawings and Specifications prepared by LWC Incorporated for ceiling renovations to the Wayne County Government Kuhlman Center.
