There are four (4) districts within the City of Carson (City). The City is soliciting bids from paving contractors for an annual pavement maintenance for each district. The selected contractor will be awarded a three-year contract, renewed annually at city's discretion, with an option to extend 1-year twice (3-1-1). The unit cost for each item will be based on the bid schedule of the selected contractor. A list of Sample Streets is attached as Exhibit "A" for bidding purposes only, final list of streets will be provided at the award of contract. SCOPE OF WORK: Including but not limited to: Uniform Coldmill and Overlay of 2" Asphaltic Rubberized Hot Mix (ARHM) or Asphaltic Concrete. Remove and replace Traffic Loop Detectors, Adjustment of utility covers to grade, painting of pavement markings and legends and Traffic Control.
