In parallel with this project, U.I.S. will be performing upgrades to the existing main switchgear by removing internal mechanical relay switches and upgrading to an Allen-Bradley Micrologix 1400 PLC system. The awarded contractor for this project will be required to coordinate with U.I.S. to bring all signal wire connections for the new generator and existing generator (if required) to the new PLC along with a new CAT6 cable to the Raw Sewage Pumps Control Panel, RSPCP, for connection to plant SCADA.
