The City of Sierra Vista requests statements of qualifications from Arizona licensed surveyors to provide professional land surveying services to support the design and construction of various City capital improvement projects, and to complete other miscellaneous survey services. The City expects to award a three-year contract with two one-year options for as-needed professional material testing services to up to three consultants. The City of Sierra Vista receives funding for some projects from federal agencies such as the Federal Transportation Administration (FTA), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and others that will have project requirements that fall under the 2 CFR 200 and FAR regulations, including but not limited to Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goals. The City of Sierra Vista encourages businesses classified as DBEs, Small Business Enterprises (SBEs) and Minority Business owners to participate. The City of Sierra Vista has determined it necessary to contract for professional land surveying services to design and construct various City Capital Improvement Projects, and to complete other miscellaneous City survey services. Although many of these projects and/or service requests are small and limited in scope, the City is not staffed nor equipped to perform the required surveying activities necessary to complete these projects or services. The City has therefore chosen to contract with a qualified Professional Land Surveyor(s) and/or Firm(s) on an as-needed basis.
