Remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Sierra Vista, Arizona. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
The objective of this project is for the Contractor to provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary to totally replace all parts and components of Elevators 01 and 02 within their respective existing elevator shafts at Raymond W. Bliss Army Health Center, Building 45001, Fort Huachuca, AZ in accordance with all Federal, State, and Installation codes and laws, to include preparation of a design as discussed below. This includes replacement of all car buttons, wiring, travel cables, hallway buttons, car position sensors, hallway lanterns, car emergency phone, emergency lighting source, door edge sensor, floor enunciator and car floor lanterns, replacement of elevators ventilation/exhaust fans, replacement of the hydraulic pumps/lines/and hoses associated with the elevators, replacement of the sump-pump in the elevator pit (and tie-back into the Building Automation System), and provide necessary renovation of existing speed governors in accordance with the most current versions of Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 3-490-06 (Elevators); UFC 4-510-01 (Design: Military Medical Facilities); CFR § 1917.116 - Elevators and escalators; ASME A17.1-2019, Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators / CSA B44-10, Safety Code for Elevators; applicable National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes; Division 1 Specifications of the Base Contract, Section 01 33 16.00 10, Paragraph 2.1.1; and all state or federal applicable laws and codes whichever is more stringent.
