Silicone sealant shall closely match glaze glass. Exterior Walls Sealants shall be removed and replaced on curtainwalls, masonry sills, louver perimeters. Existing caulk shall be removed and any residual cleaned on dissimilar's and abutting joints and new caulk installed. All weeps shall be inspected and cleaned and repaired as needed. Brick mortar joints shall be inspected for failure. Any failure in mortar joints shall be tuck pointed. All exterior penetrations shall have the existing caulk removed and new caulking installed. Waterproofing The exterior of the building shall be washed with an environmentally safe detergent prior to waterproofing. All windows will be covered to protect glass prior to waterproofing. Transparent water repellent shall be applied to all vertical masonry walls and sills. Skylight Panel to panel joints shall have the existing sealants removed by grinder/caulk cutter and any residual caulk shall be cleaned prior to the installation of new caulking. Scuppers and louvers shall have the existing sealants removed and shall be replaced at the termination bar. The top termination of skylight system to panels shall have the existing caulk removed and any residual caulk shall be cleaned prior to the installation of new caulking. All exterior penetrations shall have the existing caulk removed and new caulking installed. The vertical walls shall be washed with an environmentally safe detergent prior to waterproofing. Transparent water repellent shall be applied to all vertical masonry walls.
