Reference Number 0000358277 The County's Building and Grounds Department is seeking proposals for the replacement/upgrade of the four (4) refrigeration units located at the Sheriff Office Intervention Center. ? The system shall be sized to matched voltage and load capacity of the existing systems. ? The system shall utilize electronic TXV’s and controllers with multiple alarm capabilities. ? Outdoor Units shall have all weather covers. Outdoor units shall be placed on existing racks. Contractor shall be responsible for any modification to rack as needed to fit new units. ? Units shall have fan controls and integrated defrost controls for efficient operation. ? The contractor shall pump down and reclaim the existing systems and ensure all Federal, State and Local Environmental codes and regulations are fully adhered to. ? The contractor shall disconnect power, drains and remove for disposal. ? The contractor shall provide heat tapes on freezer drain and insulate as needed. ? The contractor shall be responsible for installation of new pipe from outdoors units to refrigeration units. Dry nitrogen shall be used during brazing to prevent any scale or carbon build up. ? Units are to be pressure test to 200 PSIG and leak tested. ? The contractor shall insulate and secure using vibration eliminating cushion clamps. ? The contractor shall be responsible to reconnect all power, and plumbing connections to properly have the new refrigeration units 100% operational. ? The contractor shall be responsible to seal all walk-in and building penetrations related to this project. ? The contractor shall purge test pressures, evacuate system and charge with virgin R-448A refrigerant.
