Site work for a civil project in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.

Work shall include the supply and installation of three new bridge culvert structures at Bridge File 763, Bridge Rile 74940 and Bridge File 77095. Bridge File 763: the Contractor shall install a 2.2 m diameter CSP culvert by 40 m invert length carrying Township Road 452 over a tributary to Battle River, located 18 km southeast of Wetaskiwin (SW 14-45-23-W4M). The new culvert will be positioned on a 35-degree Left Hand Forward (LHF) skew to the road, centred at local Station 5+548.000. Bridge File 74940: the Contractor shall install a 1.8 m diameter CSP culvert by 24 m invert length carrying Township Road 452 over a tributary to Weiller Creek, located 9 km south of Wetaskiwin (SW 14-45-24-W4M). The culvert will be positioned on a 10-degree Right Hand Forward (RHF) skew to the road, centred at local Station 5+551.000. Bridge File 77095: the Contractor shall install a 2.2 m diameter CSP culvert by 35 m invert length carrying Range Road 75 over a Tributary to Wolf Creek, located 5 km southwest of Alder Flats (SW 20-45-7-W5M). The culvert will be positioned on a 25-degree LHF skew to the road, centred at local Station 5+551.000. The Contractor shall install the culverts in accordance with the site specific Design Sketches and Section 18 of the Standard Specifications for Bridge Construction. For each bridge file, the Scope of the Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: - Traffic accommodation - Site isolation, turbidity monitoring, and fish capture and release - Demolition and disposal of bridge structures - Excavation, including supply and placement of geotextile filter fabric - Supply and assembly of culvert materials - Backfill, including backfill material testing - Heavy rock riprap erosion protection - Roadway work - Permanent environmental protection devices For information regarding this project, you may contact: Kurt Petrica, P.Eng.
