Renovation of a detention facility in Hartford, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
AHU Evaluation and Replacement Demolition of AHU internal heating and cooling coils and associated plumbing and controls. • Installation of Owner-furnished heating and cooling coils, plug panels, hardware, etc., for a complete installation and operational unit. New service branch piping and to AHU. • Provide complete testing and balancing of existing affected air systems and heating and chilled water systems. • Provisions for coil freeze pump and electrical power from local electrical panel. • AHU provides continuous conditioned ventilation air throughout the ground floor as well as first and second floors, and therefore, must remain operational at all times during normal business hours. The intent is for the Contractor to have all necessary products on-site or in-hand prior to commencement of construction project. • Please refer to the specifications, project manual and drawings for more detailed information regarding this project.
