Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hartford, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The resulting Contract consists of furnishing and the installation of hot applied rubberized asphalt crack sealer or hot pour mastic to bituminous concrete pavement surface cracks, raveled longitudinal joints and raveled transverse joints. This Contract consists of furnishing and the installation of hot-applied rubberized asphalt crack sealer or hot pour mastic to bituminous concrete pavement surface cracks, raveled longitudinal joints and raveled transverse joints that do not display signs of active aggregate loss. Sealing must be Performed on transverse and longitudinal joint-reflection cracks in composite pavement. The Contractor shall maintain a clean worksite, free from all unnecessary debris during construction. The Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, fuel, water, tools, and labor required for the installation. Joint and crack sealing must be composed and performed in accordance with specifications contained in this Exhibit A including any improvements and changes in technology that were developed following the Contract award. 1.1 Contractor Capacity and Crew Size: The Contractor shall supply a minimum of one (1) crew, with all necessary equipment and labor for each CTDOT Maintenance District awarded, to meet the expected volume of work. The geographical limits of each CTDOT Maintenance District are outlined in Attachment 1- DOT Maintenance Districts Map. The Contractor may be required to perform in multiple CTDOT Maintenance Districts simultaneously, if awarded. A crew is defined as one (1) foreman and the appropriate number of laborers, commercial drivers, non-commercial drivers, certified equipment operators and traffic control personnel to meet the requirements specified herein. The exact number of Contractor personnel shall be discussed and agreed upon during the pre-construction meeting
