Site work, paving, outdoor lighting, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Hartford, Connecticut. Working plans call for the renovation of a 11,300-square-foot, three-story above grade museum; for the construction of a 6,500-square-foot museum; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.

*As of May 21, 2025, project is currently on-hold. The owners are still re-evaluating everything including the procurement of a new GC. Although not yet firm, this project could move forward this coming June 2025, and construction could start towards the end of the year. This project will renovate the Charter Oak Cultural Center and add additional classroom space. Exterior restoration includes masonry restoration, window and door restoration, fence restoration, and new main exterior entry stair restoration. Historic Preservation includes: decorative stenciling, cast iron fencing, window restoration, and masonry restoration. Sitework includes a new 6,500sf architectural precast stepped amphitheater, unit paver areas, site concrete and retaining walls, a new rear exterior entry/egress ramp, new utilities to the building, site lighting, and all associated paving. Architectural Stone, LLC General Contracting invites you to bid on this project which includes the complete renovation and restoration of a 11,300 3-story existing synagogue building into a new cultural/music education center. Work includes a new kitchen, gallery spaces, (3) classrooms, instrument storage areas, restrooms, concessions area, stage extension, riser seating area, a control booth, a new set of interior metal pan stairs, new MEPFP systems, and a new 2-stop wheelchair lift to access the choir loft. Special Considerations: 1. This project is tax exempt. 2. This project is state funded and requires Prevailing Wage Rates based on Connecticut Department of Labor Wage and Workplace Standards 3. Certified payroll 4. This project must meet all requirements of CHRO, DECD & CIF 5. This project requires the following: 5% Retainage 5% Bid Bond for contracts exceeding $50,000 100% Performance Bonds for contracts exceeding $25,000 100% Labor & Material Payment Bonds for contracts exceeding $100,000 6. Insurance State of CT shall be listed as additional insured under the following coverages i. Commercial General Liability $1M per occurrence ii. General Aggregate - $2M iii. Umbrella Liability If it is provided to the grantee The "Hold Harmless" Indemnification endorsement shall include the interest of the municipality and the State of CT. The contractor and subcontractors and other interests. shall be so named
