Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Northfield, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The Town of Northfield, VT (Northfield) seeks bids from qualified contractors to make repairs to Town Highway Bridge #67 (on Town Highway #93). Project Scope *Replace existing bridge beams with three each W 27 x 160 beams. *Place temporary walk bridge for pedestrian traffic. *Reuse existing 6 x 6 deck timber. *Build 8 x 8 curb out of 2 x 8 planks and attach a guide rail for safety Submittal Proposals shall include the following: 1. Letter expressing interest in the project. 2. Project Schedule - a timeline, and completion dates. All work must be completed by November 30, 2024. 3. Cost proposal - a full schedule of project costs, including material costs. Questions regarding the project should be directed to the Town Manager at 802-485-9822 or at jschulz@northfield.vt.us. All contractors, and any sub-contractors must carry adequate insurance coverage (not less than $1,000,000-per occurrence). $1,000,000 - General Aggregate Applying, in total, $1,000,000 - Products/Completed Operations Aggregate, $50,000 - Fire/Legal/Liability, and $1,000,000 - Automotive Liability). Also, a performance bond will be required. The Town reserves the right to reject all and any bids.
