Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Monroe, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This Contract provides for the installation of a traffic signal and add pedestrian crossings at the intersection of 147th Street SE with 179th Avenue SE in Monroe. WA. The project will also incorporate widening to accommodate. truck traffic, a dedicated left turn lane on the north, south, and west approaches, pavement markings as necessary, and removal of the existing mid-block ADA ramp to the south of the intersection. The work to be performed includes but is not limited to traffic sig nal, sidewalk, curb ramp, fence, roadway excavation, clearing and grubbing, signing, traffic control, landscaping and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. The Engineer's opinion of probable construction cost is approximately $1,130,000.00 The Work shall be physically complete within 60 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at 769 Village Way, Monroe, Washington. The project has a DBE goal of 14%. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, money order, or bid bond (with authorized surety company as surety) made payable to the "City of Monroe" and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. including sales tax, if applicable cash will not be accepted. Questions received after October 17, 2024, at 5:00pm may not be considered. The City of Monroe expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities and to award the Project to the lowest respon sive, responsible bidder, as it best. serves the interests of the City.
