Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Shaw AFB, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a military facility; theater / auditorium; for site work for a military facility; and theater / auditorium.

This Statement of Work (SOW) is for the demolition of the Theater, B1413, and various other facilities on Shaw AFB. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and nonpersonal services necessary for the demolition and site repair of the following facilities and areas: B1413 Base Theater B1047 Aerospace Physiology B115 Maintenance Hangar B5004 Palmetto Heights Gate House B202 Locomotive Barn B1102 Picnic Shelter The 20th Civil Engineering Squadron needs the demolition of multiple buildings on base: B1413 Base Theatre, B1047 Aerospace Physiology, B115 Maintenance Hangar, B5004 Palmetto Heights Gate House, B202 Locomotive Barn, and B1102 Picnic Shelter. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary for the demolition and abatement. Contractor's responsibilities shall include the following: 1. Provide asbestos survey for all structures (excluding picnic shelter). See attachments for previous outdated surveys. 2. Perform asbestos abatement and provide air monitoring. Note abatement and monitoring must be performed by a different company from the survey provider. 3. Removal and disposal of the building structure, (roof, exterior/interior walls, foundation, footings, grade beams, ceilings, electrical systems, mechanical systems, etc.), including landfill tipping fees. 4. Removal and disposal of pavements and sidewalks associated with the facility and/or identified on the plans. 5. Removal of existing slab(s) and associated landscaping.
