Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Renton, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
All Bid Proposals Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Proposal Deposit (Certified Check or Surety Bond) in an Amount Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Amount of Such Bid Proposal. Should the Successful Bidder Fail to Enter Into Such Contract and Furnish Satisfactory Performance Bond Within the Time Stated in the Specifications, the Bid Proposal Deposit Shall Be Forfeited to the City of Renton. This Invitation and Will Not Be Discriminated Against on the Grounds of Race, Color, National Origin, or Sex in Consideration for an Award. the Improvement for Which Bids Will Be Received is Described Below: Construct the Oakesdale Ave Sw Pavement Preservation Project. The Work Includes but is Not Limited to: Resurfacing the Roadway Along Oakesdale Ave Sw From Sw 34th St to Sw 16th St; Installing Bike Lanes; Updating Channelization Through Restriping; Upgrading Intersection Ramps to Current Ada Standards; Adjusting or Evaluating Replacement of Existing Features Affected by Resurfacing Such as Monuments, Catch Basins, or Drainage Grates; Temporary Traffic Control; Property Protection and Restoration; and All Other Work Necessary to Complete the Work as Specified and Shown in the Contract Provisions. the City Reserves the Right to Reject Any and/or All Bids and to Waive Any and/or All Informalities. Any prospective Bidder desiring an explanation or interpretation of the Bid Documents, shall request the explanation or interpretation in writing by the close of business five (5) business days preceding the bid opening to allow a written reply to reach all prospective Bidders before the submission of their Bids Questions About the Project Shall Be Addressed to Keith Woolley, Public Works Department, at 1-425-430-7318 or Kwoolley@rentonwa.gov. Bidders Are Not to Contact the City of Renton or the Engineer to Obtain Bidding Documents. a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Total of Each Bid Must Accompany Each Bid.
