Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Flint, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of August 13, 2024 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** A. Work must be completed during normal working hours. Beecher Metropolitan District will also continue their normal business operations and be open to the public. B. Following earth excavation for placement of the pulverized material, the resulting subgrade shall be compacted and proof-rolled. Soft or unsuitable materials shall be removed as directed by the Engineer. Major work items include, but are not limited to, HMA base crushing and shaping, aggregate base, earth excavation, HMA paving, concrete paving, and pavement markings. All elements of work, including labor, equipment, materials, bonds, insurance,general conditions, profit etc required for the completion of the work shall be provided by the Contractor. Question Deadline 07/30/2024 Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The project includes the construction of approximately 20,000 square feet of HMA base crushing and shaping, 19,200 square feet of HMA paving, and 800 square feet of concrete paving. The Beecher Metropolitan District reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Beecher Metropolitan District
