Demolition and renovation of a municipal facility in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 4,432-square-foot municipal facility; and for the demolition of a municipal facility.

The work to be performed under this project consists of providing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the repainting of the entire office suite at the Winding Creek Annex located at 707 Executive Place. The intent of this project is to repair and repaint all vertical surfaces throughout the suite, including bathrooms, kitchen, conference room, lobby and individual offices. A 5% bid bond is not required for this project. Performance and Payment Bonds are not required for this project. The Contractor shall procure and pay all charges and fees for all permits and licenses incidental to the due and lawful prosecution of the work. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. Total painted surface square footage - ~ 4,432 square feet. Once a Notice To Proceed is released the contractor will have 30 days to complete work. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Scope of work includes: Demo Work: Demo wooden trim above cove base throughout entire suite. Remove and dispose of all soap dispensers, hand towel dispensers, and toilet paper dispensers from both bathrooms. Remove ADA grab bars to be reused. Remove any screws or nails from drywall throughout suite. Remove all electrical outlet cover plates and dispose. Remove any water-damaged drywall in bathrooms. Remove existing water fountain and provide to owner. Remove old mirrors from bathrooms. New Work: Patch all holes left in drywall from removal of screws, nails, dispensers, mirrors and wooden trim and replace any water-damaged drywall removed during demo. Repair any drywall damage throughout the entire suite. Protect flooring and carpet from paint and drywall dust and seal off HVAC returns prior to any drywall sanding. Prime and apply a minimum of two coats of a low-VOC interior latex paint to all vertical surfaces listed below including all doors, door casings, chair rail, non-metallic window trim, and rear exit metal door. Paint type and color to be approved by owner. Install new Hubbell stainless steel or equivalent cover plates over all electrical outlets. New paper towel/toilet paper/soap dispenser to be provided by owner and installed by contractor. Re-install ADA grab bars. Install new ADA compliant mirrors. Suite Specifications: Men's bathroom - ~224 square feet of painted surface + 1 door w/ trim Women's bathroom - ~ 224 square feet of painted surface + 1 door w/ trim Lobby - ~528 square feet of painted surface Conference room - ~512 square feet of painted surface + 3 doors w/ trim Room 726 - ~368 square feet of painted surface + 1 door w/ trim Room 727 - ~368 square feet of painted surface + 1 door w/ trim
